§ 12.04.380. Vehicles crossing sidewalks away from driveways.*

No person shall cross with a horse-drawn or commercial motor vehicle any sidewalk
in the city, except over regularly recognized driveways, without first obtaining from
the city engineer a written permit stating the place to be crossed, and filing with
the city engineer a written agreement under seal, with sureties if required, approved
by such engineer, to indemnify the city from all loss, cost or expense that it may
suffer by reason of such crossing.
