§ 13.08.380. Display of permit—Time for completion of work.

No work of laying or repairing building sewers or any sanitary sewer and appurtenances shall be commenced unless the permit to do so is issued by the superintendent of public works and is at the site of the work, in the hands of the sewer layer or his or her employee. All work shall be completed within the time limitations stated in the permit, which shall be established by the superintendent of public works at the time the permit is issued. If not so completed, a new permit shall be obtained by the owner to validate continuance of the work.
