§ 17.48.030. Application.

All applications for zoning permits shall be made in writing to the building inspector in the detail specified in this title. The building inspector (who shall retain sole authority for the issuance of building permits) may, prior to the issuance of any zoning permit, refer one copy of the plans, drawings and statements to each of the following for review and written recommendations: the city planner, city engineer, superintendent of public works and the board of health. The combined responses to the application will be known as the formal project review.
