§ 2.20.010. Creation and appointment.

In accordance with M.G.L. c. 43C, there is hereby established the position of director of finance. The director of finance shall be responsible to and appointed by the mayor, subject to confirmation by the city council. The director of finance shall serve for a term of four years coterminous with the four-year term of mayor.
