§ 2.45.010. Established—Function.

There is established a department of civil defense, sometimes called the "department" in this chapter. It shall be the function of the department to have charge of civil defense as defined in Chapter 639, Section 1 of the Acts and Resolves of the 1950 Massachusetts Legislature, and to perform civil defense functions as authorized or directed by such chapter or by any executive orders or general regulations promulgated thereunder, and to exercise any authority delegated to it by the governor under such Chapter 639.
