§ 2.78.040. Powers and duties.

The board of health shall have and exercise all the powers vested in city boards of health under the General Laws and acts in amendment thereof and additions thereto. It shall make such regulations as it deems wise regarding inspection and sale of ice and milk for domestic purposes, and shall perform such other duties as may from time to time be prescribed by the mayor and the city council.
