§ 2.84.040. Council on elder affairs technical advisor.

A.

There shall also be a technical advisor to the council on elder affairs. The technical advisor (elder affairs director) shall provide the guidance and leadership to bring about a greater coordination of services to respond to the needs and problems of the elderly citizens of our community. The technical advisor shall undertake the planning, implementation and administration of effective senior citizen programs that will provide the best possible services for our senior residents and present his or her proposals and recommendations to the council on elder affairs for discussion and approval. The technical advisor shall serve as a nonvoting, ex officio member of the council on elder affairs and all committees appointed by the chairman of the council.

B.

Each member of the representative provider group shall be the senior citizen coordinator of the group. The advisory board shall provide information and advise to the council on elder affairs. The advisory board shall not have voting rights.
