§ 2.40.060. Appointment and status of division personnel.

A.

Division heads shall be appointed by the mayor subject to city council approval for terms of four years coterminous with the mayor. Division heads shall appoint all other officers and employees serving under them subject to the approval of the director of municipal inspections and the mayor.

B.

The provisions of this chapter shall not affect the civil service status or union status of any of the positions or personnel within the divisions of the department of municipal inspections.
